Every time we have a case against a large corporation a condition of settlement is a Confidentiality Agreement. We can’t tell you what happened, to whom and by whom. The reason is it might hurt bizness.
So, in the last year we have been muzzled by big corporations to never tell you what happened when a seat belt failed causing a severe brain injury or when a flight attendant was raped on the job by two married pilots. We are not even allowed to talk about a serious back injury sustained when ice was neglectfully left on a floor, causing a catastrophic slip and fall and serious back injury.
We are not allowed to mention cases where neglect has killed vulnerable adults in group homes. Don’t let anybody know. Does it sound a little bit like what is going on in Washington?
